It is important to build relationships with all legislators and not only educate them about the funeral service profession, but become a resource to them. Now is the time to reach out to these individuals, introduce yourself, get to know them, invite them to your funeral home and build the relationship.  Action now will benefit the future.
 
Some of you may already have relationships with your local Senators and Representatives.  Please take a moment to complete the Key Contacts Worksheet and tell us more about your relationships.  As you begin to build your relationships, please remember to update this worksheet as well.  This information will be shared with the LFDA Laws & Legislative Committee and will be useful during session when contact needs to be made with a legislator about a bill that is favorable or unfavorable to our profession.  Please send your completed forms to the LFDA office:
